Hey I was inspired by P.Diddy's running of the NYC Marathon...I am thinking about what if I did it myself...I am thinking about registering to run the 2004 Marathon in honor of Haiti's 200 year anniversary and also to raise funds for the Save Our Haiti project...I would love to have a team of Haitians register to run with me for this cause...
anyone interested jjacques@saveourhaiti.org |

Not Haitian my man. But if I were I would get with you on that. My father hates P. Diddy and I myself am not impressed with some of his actions and lyrics. I over heard my dad when I was watching a show on him running on mtv and Diddy said he wanted to raise a million say"Why don't you give a million your self". But I had watched the show. And granted he could have given money himself. I don't even know if he did. But regardless, even if he did do it for himself or to show off, I applaud him for raising that money. And he sure had some motivation, and I can't imagine more of one than thinking of kids. I was thinking the same thought, gee that is inspiring. I hope you succed in your mission. And get others to help you. God bless you and your endevor. |

sometimes you do things in life that are more precious then money...yes he could have given a million dollars and called it a day, but think of this...he raised the money by making all the other celebs give even the Mayor...second the money itself only affects 4 public schools in NYC but all the kids in the city feel blessed that someone was willing to go that far for them...it boosted children's morales during a time like this...alot of children got to see him a few days before the race and cried...family's came out of their homes to watch the marathon together in Brooklyn, that's not an everyday thing...do you know how many children this affects? do you know how many children are saying when I grow up I want to be just like PDiddy, forget the drugs and guns they will offer me, I have a goal and I know I can do it?...think moraly, it doesn't even matter what PDiddy's true agenda was, what matters is how it affects people...money isn't everything |

Excellent Idea,
I think I will take that chanlege and I speak for my wife as well. I hope she will be down with this. she has done it for her company, perhaps she can do it for her country now.
Yo Luver we need to talk more on that Idea, |

Luvherlongtime.....I am so happy to hear from positive people like you. P.Diddy did a great thing for his community and we can do the same great thing for our people. P.Diddy has many different charities that he support so don't try to tell me he is being greedy by not give the money himself. He truly inspired me to get more involved in my community. I am currently volunteering at a boy and girls club in my neighborhood to help younger kids with their homework. I am thinking about organizing a similar sort of marathon when I go to Haiti this summer. If I don't realize that I will try until I succeed.
My point is Beau and luvher, if you really want to put something like that together. I give you my support. |
